Privacy Policy

Your face is personal. This page explains plainly what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Your selfie, to make your looks.
• Your choices (lengths, styles, colors) and the pictures we make for you.
• Your email, if you buy a Lookbook, so we can send your private link and receipt.
• Payment details are handled by Stripe. We see that you paid, not your card number.

How long we keep it

• Free looks: your selfie is deleted from our image partner's storage within 24 hours.
• Paid Lookbook: we keep your selfie privately for 45 days so you can swap a style, then delete it. Your Lookbook pictures stay at your private link until you delete them.
• Delete any time: the "Delete my Lookbook" button removes your pictures and your selfie from our storage right away.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your photos or personal information.
• We don't post your photos anywhere or use them in ads.
• We don't use facial recognition or create face templates to identify you.

Who helps us run the service

We use a few service providers, and they only get what they need to do their job: an AI image-generation provider (kie.ai) that receives your photo to create your looks, Supabase (secure storage for paid Lookbooks), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments) and an email provider (to send your link). If you came from a salon's link and choose to share your contact info with that salon, we pass it only to that salon.

Kids

See The New U is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can delete your Lookbook at any time from its page, or email us and we'll delete your data. If you live in a state with extra privacy rights, email us and we'll help.
